The Somerville Fermentation Fest nerd-sniped me this weekend. Highlightest highlights for me were
- Super savory fish sauce made from eel scraps by Maine Garum Co (sampled with a quarter-second squeeze of whipped cream - fascinating! Thanks Liam)
- Tea-purist kombuchas made from genmaicha and sencha by Pagu
- Good-on-its-own pumpkin-habanero hot sauce from Craic Sauce
- Funky goat milk kefir from Round Table Farm
- The tenderest sourdough focaccia pizza with cauliflower and sausage from La Saison
- The most flavorful Comté several of us had ever had, courtesy of Formaggio Kitchen
