It all started on the 13th hour of the 13th day of the 13th month. We were there to discuss the misprinted calendars the school had purchased
Weak theme to this mini; mostly I want to post some of my favorites from the year:
- They're the Same Picture by Shannon Rapp and Will Eisenberg - nice casual one with a fun theme
- Episode Guide by Will Nediger - unholy beast styled after the 18 parts of James Joyce's Ulysses and what inspired my puzzle Under the Influence. Section 8 is a triumph
And music:
- Stara Rzeka - WYNOŚ SIĘ Z MOJEGO DOMU - lush dark folk with lots of nice noises
- Ninajirachi - I Love My Computer - sounds like being a teenager at the mall while a rave breaks out
- Oklou - choke enough - so many bangers it's easy to miss that there's hardly any drums on this album
- Noise Trail Immersion - Tutta la Morte in un solo punto - music that fights you
- Panchiko - Ginkgo - one of few bands to remind me of Radiohead
